Turn Your Written Content Into High-Value Physical Products: Audio CDs!

Practical Article Marketing Tips – 3 Ways To Repurpose Your Article Into An Audio CD

By Jeff Herring

Article Marketing is a great way to create a massive amount of content and a massive web presence.

One of the many advantages of having a massive inventory of content that you have created is you are then able to repurpose your content into many other marketing messages and information products.

One of my favorite ways to repurpose an article is into an Audio CD.

3 Ways to Repurpose Your Article into an Audio CD

1. Read and talk about your article – Using any kind of voice recording equipment, simply take one of your articles that has received the most views and click thrus and read it into a microphone. Don’t just read the article word for word. That’s not going to come off the way you want. Instead, use the actual article as a starting place to talk about the content of your article. Just make sure you cover the main points.

2. Create a teleseminar from your article – Many of my teleseminars begin as articles. I use the article as the outline of my teleseminar and just expand on the article. When you do this, you have taken a 300-500 word article and expanded it into a 60 minute piece of audio content. Have it recorded and then burn it onto a CD, and there is your Audio CD based on your article.

3. Create a Signature Speech from your article – Your article is also a great outline for a signature speech. You use your article as a jumping off point for the content of your speech. Just like a teleseminar, have your speech recorded and then burn it onto a CD.

And here’s an extra little tip for when you give a signature speech based on your article: make copies of your article, with your contact information, to give to everyone in attendance.

And getting back to repurposing your article into an Audio CD, I want to invite you to claim your Free Instant Access to my interview with Mike Stewart, The Internet Audio Guy on “How to Make an Audio CD Product” when you visit http://www.TheArticleGuyTeleSeminars.com/makecds

The beauty of taking your product from digital format to one (or several) physical products is that you reach a much larger audience. There still are many people who prefer a “real” book compared to an Ebook! And the perceived value of physical products is quite a bit higher than for digital items.

Please visit this example. This was a print book written by my mother for our family’s publishing house, in the 1980s. It has had a large volume of sales over the years. For our online bookstore and publishing house, I took the book into both Ebook and Ebook-on-CD products. In these formats, it was logical to expand the scope of the book and take it into a literal 2nd Edition, with much more information available for the customer.

Hopefully this will give you an overview of the processes it took, to take a 30 year old product into a brand new digital AND physical product… greatly expanding the reach to potential customers!
